The Self-Directed Economics and Personal Finance course requires students to complete work without direct teacher instruction. This course is self-directed, and student will be provided a schedule with due dates for assignments. The student must be self-motivated and able to complete the requirements without a teacher to direct and assist with studies. Students will be provided a facilitator, who will monitor student progress. The facilitator is not available to explain the material. The Self-Directed Economics and Personal Finance course was updated on March 21, 2025. Students read through 14 modules, complete various exit tickets, module tests, homework assignments, a midterm exam, and a final exam. This course is recommended for students in grades 9-12 during the 2026-27 school year. This course is pass/fail only and accessed through Schoology. |
