Over-the-counter (OTC) medications are drugs and supplements that are available to consumers without a prescription. They are the most common way to treat the majority of common health problems in the United States. One in three Americans uses OTC medications on a regular basis. This trend will increase as more drugs are moving from prescription to OTC status. Course focuses on the different therapeutic classes of medications available OTC, supplements, and their claims.
