From the Greek to the Saracens, Sicilian food is a rich blend of these influences & ingredients - apricots, citrus, rice, saffron & dates, sardines, swordfish, eggplants & pistachio are used with abundance and flourish.
In this culinary series, we pay tribute to this rich culinary heritage with classic dishes such as pasta with shrimp and pistachio pesto, Sicilian eggplant Caponata, Farsumagru - traditional meat roll, classic fish preparations as well as traditional desserts such as the Sicilian Cassata.
This class is tailored to provide you a complete menu from the age old, vast culinary tradition of Sicily.
