As a continuation of our ‘World on a Plate’ cooking class for teens, this advanced class is a perfect way to further hone skills of the budding chef at home! Not only will students have fun working on more in-depth dishes from around the world using different cooking techniques; marinating, searing, and braising but we will also delve deeper into food chemistry and scientific principles behind the food we love! From posoles to breads, this class is a perfect for the gourmet in your family.
We’ll be enjoying a broad spectrum of the world’s most beloved eats: delicious stews, roasted meats, salads, vegetables, breads, and desserts! Course curriculum is geared towards teens who have some culinary experience and skill in the kitchen. Grades 7-11. Class size limited to 12. 5 sessions @ 3 hrs each.
