AP05001   Apprenticeship 101: Core Construction Skills

This rigorous introduction to construction skills from the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) covers topics such as Basic Safety, Hand and Power Tools, Construction Math, Communication Skills, Introduction to Construction Drawings, and Construction Careers. Core Construction Skills is a prerequisite to all other level 1 NCCER craft curriculum and is required to earn each NCCER craft credential. Students earn 80 hours of apprenticeship related instruction as well as an industry-recognized credential through the NCCER Registry System.
 
* Classes meet in-person daily from 8AM - 3PM. Online textbook is included with tuition, a laptop or tablet is highly recommended. Payment plan applications must be received two weeks before the class start date. Registrations closes at 5:00 PM on the Friday before class begins.
