SS08005   Fun Physics for Teens

Are you interested to learn more about the forces that govern the universe? This camp is an introduction to many interesting topics that arise in physics courses, and includes numerous hands-on experiments and demonstrations. We will explore fundamental topics such as 2D and 3D kinematics, the 4 forces of the universe, energy and power, electricity, and electromagnetism--and will also be briefly introduced to advanced topics such as space-time theory, cosmology, and quantum physics. Camp will be part lecture/demonstration, and part hands-on experiments that will introduce student to collecting reliable data and analyzing it--while reinforcing important concepts learned during lecture. Experiments include building circuits and other fun activities! 15 hours of instruction.
