Electricians install and maintain electrical systems in homes, businesses, and commercial structures according to state and local codes. This is the second class of a comprehensive four-level curriculum that complies with DOLI standards for apprenticeship. Curriculum is nationally recognized and certified by NCCER. Level two modules include: alternating current, motors, lighting, conduit bending, pull and junction boxes, conductor installations, cable tray, conductor terminations and splices, grounding and bonding, circuit breakers and fuses, and control systems. |
* Classes meet twice a week, once in person and once virtually, for the stated hours. Mid-term and final grades are reported electronically to sponsor employers with a FERPA form on file with ACE. Payment plan applications must be received two weeks before the class start date. Registration closes at 5:00 PM on the Thursday before class begins. A laptop or tablet is highly recommended.
