AP02003   HVAC 4

HVAC 4 builds on prior coursework and includes modules on Water Treatment, Indoor Air Quality, Energy Conservation Equipment, Building Management Systems, System Air Balancing, System Startup and Shutdown, Construction Drawings/Specifications, Heating and Cooling System Design, Commercial/Industrial Refrigeration Systems, Alternative and Specialized Heating and Cooling Systems, and Fundamentals of Crew Leadership. HVAC 4 is part of a comprehensive four-level HVAC curriculum that complies with DOLI standards for apprenticeship and is recognized by North American Technician Excellence (NATE).
 
* Classes meet twice a week, once in person and once virtually, for the stated hours. Mid-term and final grades are reported electronically to sponsor employers with a FERPA form on file with ACE. Payment plan applications must be received two weeks before the class start date. Registration closes at 5:00 PM on the Thursday before class begins. A laptop or tablet is highly recommended. Required textbook: Students must purchase digital or print textbook with NCCERConnect code from the NCCER bookstore.
