AP05001   Apprenticeship 101: Core Construction Skills

This rigorous introduction to construction skills from the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) covers topics such as Basic Safety, Hand and Power Tools, Construction Math, Communication Skills, Introduction to Construction Drawings, and Construction Careers. Core Construction Skills is a prerequisite to all other level 1 NCCER craft curriculum and is required to earn each NCCER craft credential. Students earn 80 hours of apprenticeship related instruction as well as an industry-recognized credential through the NCCER Registry System.

Tuition does not include textbook fee of $35 and lab fee of $5. A laptop or tablet is highly recommended. Payment plan applications must be received two weeks before the class start date. Registrations closes at 5:00 PM on the Thursday before class begins.
