AP02001   HVAC 2

HVAC 2 builds on prior coursework and includes modules on Alternating Current, Compressors, Refrigerants and Oils, Leak Processes, Metering Devices, Heat Pumps, Basic Maintenance, Venting, Sheet Metal and Fiberglass/Flexible Duct Systems, Commercial Airside Systems, Air Quality Equipment, and Intro to Hydronic Systems. HVAC 2 is part of a comprehensive four-level HVAC curriculum that complies with DOLI standards for apprenticeship and is recognized by North American Technician Excellence (NATE).
 
* Classes meet twice a week, once in person and once virtually, for the stated hours. Mid-term and final grades are reported electronically to sponsor employers with a FERPA form on file with ACE. Payment plan applications must be received two weeks before the class start date. Registration closes at 5:00 PM on the Thursday before class begins. A laptop or tablet is highly recommended. Required textbook: Students must purchase digital or print textbook with NCCERConnect code from the NCCER bookstore.
