TI05323   Auto Body Repair and Refinishing

Learn to properly repair automotive body damage through hands-on training with an experienced industry expert. You will learn how to repair large and small dents, rust, panel replacement, panel welding, metal straightening, plastic filler repair, automotive refinishing techniques, and panel alignment procedures. Students typically work on their own cars but can purchase a fender (new or used) to learn these processes. Students can also learn by observing and helping other students with their projects. Material fee covers shop consumable supplies (filler, sand paper, paint). 12 sessions @ 4 hrs each.

* Students must supply their own safety glasses and are required to wear them while performing or observing tasks. Students must also provide personal hand tools, safety gear, parts and supplies for their projects. Instructor will recommend proper tools and supplies based on your project plan during the first class meeting.
