Learn cardiac anatomy and physiology, infection control, communication and legal issues in healthcare, the history of EKG, EKG interpretation, and EKG application theory and procedure. Student will learn to apply, monitor, and measure electrocardiography tests in a flexible, online learning environment. Instruction includes measuring basic vital signs, performing rapid response procedures, operating an EKG machine, and identifying rhythms. Successful completion prepares you for the Certified EKG Technician (CET) exam offered by the National Healthcare Association (NHA) upon eligibility. Exam voucher included.
