Registration Information:

Early registration offers the best possibility of obtaining a seat in the class of your choice.  Popular classes fill quickly so do not delay. If a seat is available, your payment reserves your place in the class.

Adults over age 18 may attend our classes. You do not need to be a resident of Fairfax County and no additional fees are collected for out-of-county students.

Senior discount information

Classes such as driver education (Behind-the-Wheel), SAT/PSAT preparation, TJ Admissions Test Prep, after-school enrichment, summer camps and world language instruction are available for students under the age of 18.

Additional course is available online and is the most current including any updates since the catalog was printed.

In addition to registering online other registration options are available. We will honor an “authorization to bill” letter at the time of registration by mail, fax, or in person, which must come from your employer and be on company letterhead. Please be sure that your employer includes contact information for the person who will be authorizing the payment.

Gift certificates are available for purchase at Plum Center. You may also register a family member online by using the “Add a Member” option at the class screen.

You may be able to register for a class after the start date. This requires permission from a program specialist. Please call a customer service representative at 703-658-2727.

Your registration confirmation is required to be taken to class if you register on the class start date. You may not register with the instructor and no attendance is allowed without prior registration.

Textbook information:

Textbooks are required for class that list a textbook in the course description unless the book is marked “optional." In some instances, such as language classes, the same text is used for several different class levels; if you have previously purchased a book please deselect the checkbox next to the textbook.

Payment for textbooks is required when you register; textbooks will be delivered at the first class meeting to students who have enrolled at least ten days prior to the class starting.

What if I purchased a textbook for my class

If you purchased textbooks, delivery will be at your first class if you registered at least 10 days before the start of your class; otherwise, delivery will be at the second class. Directions to your classroom will be posted at the main entry of your class location the first night of class. In case of bad weather, call 703-658-1203 for class status.

Class information:
